Wine has been cultivated in Koblenz since the 5th century, when the Romans settled here. Due to the steep slopes, the Middle Rhine Valley and the Moselle region are ideal for growing grapes. In this region, Riesling is known for its zesty, fruity acidity. Grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Dornfelder are also cultivated here. Discover the region's wines in wine tastings or explore the region on an exciting vineyard tour.
