The "Hiking and Theme Park of the City of Koblenz" project was launched in 2007. Since then, further trail networks have been developed in addition to the existing hiking trails. The many hiking trails in and around Koblenz show the great interest in the region and offer you numerous beautiful experiences.
A number of paths run through the city of Koblenz, such as the Rheinsteig, the Rheinburgenweg and the Jakobsweg. There are various sports and health trails to appeal to other age groups. These include the "Intersport Krumholz Trail" and the "Stay healthy trail". The numerous themed trails, on the other hand, impart knowledge about ecology, science or history. For example, you can explore the Rhine culture trail, the water nature trail or the archaeological nature trail.
